The Bar Council of Delhi Enrollment

The Bar Council of Delhi has increased the Enrollment Fees (excluding fees of application form of Rs. 1000/-). The notification of increament in fees was notified by Hon’ble Secretary of Bar Council of Delhi, Mr. Ajayinder Sangwan vide notification no. 6069/SF/2020 dated 23.12.2020. Read Notification

The fees has been increased upto Rs. 14,300/- w.e.f. 01.01.2021(excluding the fees of application form of Rs. 1000/-) from the earlier fees which ranged between Rs. 9000 to 10,000/- (excluding fees of application form of Rs. 1000/-) for freshly graduated LLB students. However, in January 2020 Hon’ble Delhi High Court in the case of Ankit Gupta vs. Bar Council of Delhi, the High Court has issued notices on a plea challenging the levy of exorbitant enrollment and other fees by the Bar Council of Delhi and the Bar Council of India.
