Section 482 gives inherent power to the High Court. The High Court may use these powers to quash the FIR or pass any other relevant decision or direction to the lower court related to any case.
In this case, petitioner filed an application under section 482 of CrPC for the quashing of FIR which is refused by High Court on various ground (read order below).
But Court issued appropriate direction as demanded by counsel of the petitioner that he is ready to deposite the compounding amount for settlement since the FIR is based on the compondable offences.
